The architectural design of this boutique hotel is set to a modern tone to reflect a forward-looking direction of new development along this section of El Camino Real. Exterior materials are fiber-cement panels in a combination of finishes and colors, and aluminum solar shades and accents that provide variation and interest. The building will complement the El Camino Real Grand Boulevard improvement plan with its sidewalk setback and overhead elements to define the street frontage. Green building elements are implemented with brise-soleils, solar panels, and green mechanical and building systems. Plantings have been selected to be low water use, need minimal maintenance to maintain their size, and provide shade and screening. The ground level will feature high ceilings and include amenities for the hotel guests including a lobby, lounge, and beverage bar with dining.
